New Job(s)

I have good news!

So, I've been working at a good job since moving here to Provo, but it hasn't been ideal. My hours have left Craig and I with very little time together; also, it just wasn't anything I was interested in doing long term. The people I work with are great, and I've learned some valuable things. I was just eager for a change.

I'm happy to report that I've secured two part-time jobs to take the place of my current full-time job! First off, I'll be working at a new restaurant, The Smoking Apple, that some family friends are opening. I'll be working really short shifts there, but I'm excited to interact with people face-to-face and to work with the owners, who are awesome folks. My other job will be freelance writing for a web content firm in Provo. This job allows me to work from home, which is EXCELLENT considering our one-car/two-people situation. Also, this means that I'll actually get to write for money! Writing is what I want to do for my whole life, so getting started now makes me really happy. Like this: =)

I start both jobs next week.

  1. Wow! That is SO exciting! I hope they both work out for you. I know how hard it is to try to balance 2 working people and one car. Good Luck!
